Golde, P.E. after 32 years of experience in consulting, project and utility engineering, most recently as a Principal of North Country Engineering, P.C. for the past 18 years. John M. Golde, P.E. graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) Summa Cum Laude from Manhattan College and is presently licensed as a Professional Engineer in New York and New Jersey. Early in his career, he had assignments in Substation Maintenance Engineering and Transmission Planning at the Long Island Lighting Company, and coal fired power plant design at EBASCO Services. Mr. Golde then designed electrical and control systems for flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems at coal fired plants for Peabody Process Systems, Inc. After spending several years as electrical construction engineer for the installation and startup of the FGD system at the Somerset Plant in Barker, NY, Mr. Golde has spent 25 years in the small regional consulting engineering firms of Rist-Frost Associates, P.C. and North Country Engineering, P.C. During this time Mr. Golde has been involved in all phases of projects for a wide range of industrial and institutional clients: from paper mills, chemical and manufacturing plants, to college, universities and state correctional facilities.
